Job Title:CS Support – Customer Rep

Department: Customer Service
Reports To: Customer Service Manager
Location: South Kansas City, MO

Position Overview

This position will be responsible for communicating with our customers and rep agencies regarding order status and assisting the CS Support Team as needed.  

Essential Job Functions

  • Review all backordered items communicating with customers on items not in stock and provide estimated ship times.
  • Offer customer alternative product when applicable
  • Communicate with rep agencies with updates on backorder statuses, obsolete items, and shipping dates.
  • Contact customers when items have become obsolete.
  • Process RMA reversal report and process the reversals, which include credit and reship.
  • Work with planning department to determine production dates or request manufacturing orders.
  • Work with production floor to assist with clearing out backorders.
  • Assist with Return Material Agreements (RMA).
  • Maintains safety files and records.
  • Assist, develop and implement environmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist with order entry as needed.
  • Assist department manager with the daily workload by adapting to the various roles within the department

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
