Forklift/Power Industrial Truck Operator

Location: South Kansas City, MO

The pay range is up to $19.50/hr, 2nd shift carries $2.50/hr. shift differential. Overtime is available!

Position Overview

• The PIT Operator is responsible for operating equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack and count products.  The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
• Safety and efficiently to operate manual handling equipment such as Reach Truck, Order Picker, and Sit Down. 
• Keep preferred locations for product stocked in order to cover all product allocations.  Pull parts for manufacturing departments as needed.
• Accurately document inventory movements through use of scanners and/or in written form.
• Consolidate pallets to efficiently use space in overstock locations and Put pallets in correct size bin locations to efficiently use warehouse space.
  

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, skill in organization and attention to detail, and basic math skills.
• Familiarity with RF scanners, and proficiency in computer systems and technology.
• Must be able to engage in bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers.
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to work at extended heights.
